Pics at Swan Club during inclimate weather

Hi Everyone-

I am most likely booking the Swan Club this week with my FI. I asked the BM what happens in the event of inclimate weather as far as taking pictures and he seemed to not give me a clear answer. I am not sure what to do.

If any of you have had your receptions there and had inclimate weather on your big day....how were pics handled ??

Well, when I went to see Gary Leli the Photographer he show me pictures of a bride that got married last May I believe and it rained. What they did was take a few pictures inside (group pictures) and they set another date after the wedding to take pictures on a sunny date after the honeymoon. I could not even tell.

Thanks for your reply.

So was that the only option (pics after the honeymoon?) I am not sure that I would like that.

Was that the photographer's decision or The Swan Club's decision to reschedule photos for another day.

I think if this is an issue then I have to start looking for another reception hall.

Could you do your formal family/bridal party pics in the church?

Also, my photographer has a studio where they take pics when the weather is rainy. It is set up like a formal living room and has couches and a fireplace. Maybe other photographers have this option too?? I am sure whatever photographer you book will have ideas.

I would just take more pics at the church... and then you could always take pics inside in that room to the left in front of the fireplace... or in the gazebo outside... or make everyone hold an umbrella and smile...

We took all of our family photos in the room where the reception would take place just before and as the cocktail hour was starting. The CH was in a seperate room, so that worked out pretty well. Maybe you could do that if it rained.
