(pics) Everyday there is a cardinal who attacks my windows

He's a very aggressive little boy!
I know they think their reflection is another bird infringing on their territory.
These aren't the best pics, but he's funny.

We have to go out there and put something on the outsides of these windows so he no longer sees his reflection, I don't want him to get hurt.

He does this for at least an hour every morning.

I caught him the other day attacking the side mirror on my car.

Wow, he needs to find a girlfriend!

We have the same thing except for Blue Jays. They think they're WWII dive bombers, always trying to take the tops of our heads off or attack the dogs/cat. Nasty little creeps!

That happened with two woodpeckers at my old job. The male would only attack his reflection in the window tho.

I think it's a mating thing, they are trying to rid themselves of the competition and don't realize it's just a reflection.
