I never, ever thought I would post these pics but I guess I'll be brave....these are from my 2nd fitting a few weeks ago....thankfully I've gotten a bit of a tan and lost a bit of weight/toned the monster arms.....

I am a bit bummed at how I look in the dress....but I need to remember that I ordered this dress because it was the dress my father told me he loved....and he told me that the last time I saw him before he passed away....so it may not look great, but I'm sure he loves it.....

and if these pics don't encourage people to tan and join WW, I don't know what will!

PS -don't mind the boo-tay, they were doing the bustle.....

Colleen, the dress is GORGEOUS. You look amazing. Don't know if you believe this - but I do so I'm gonna say and ope it doesn't offend - your dad will be looking down on you with as much happiness as heavenly possible.

Not offensive in any possible way. He is with me all the time...I've had more strange things happen than you would believe.....I'm sure something will happen at the wedding....that's why I can't do a memorial candle, my fireman father hated candles, I'm sure it would never light!

And thank you....he'll be there....from dress selection to special touches and in spirit....

Awww ... you should try the candle to see what happens!!!! My cousin got married a few years ago and her dad had passed away that year or the year before ... and her brother got married like 4 months after he died - so while I have no idea what it must be like, I am familiar with the feelings I think. I am sure he will show himself to you that day in many special ways.

You look soooo beautiful and sooooo happy...I love thedress...my FH always tells me I look like a frozen turkey...so I know what its like to be pale and I dont think you look pale at all

you look beautiful and will be a beautiful bride. Remember the dress isn't even steamed yet and you do not have your makeup or hair done so it is hard to tell how you will really look. But don't worry you will look wonderfu.

And it is so wonderful that your dad saw it and loved it. He'll be with you.
Please don't be so hard on yourself-- you really look beautiful, and tanning is sooo unhealthy! There is nothing wrong with being a fair maid!

A lot of times we are much more critical of ourselves than how other people see us....so don't worry, you look beautiful!

We are our own worst critics. Thank you for making me see the positives.

I'm sure my dad loves it. I'm sure my FH will too. I am going to do my best to love it as well.
