My Egagement Party was last weekend at Sergios Italian Restaurant in Massapequa. We had a great time, except for the fact that it was squished (don't be pressured to ever add more people after you've booked a place for a certain amount!!!). My FH and I got engaged at the Venetian in Las Vegas, and a lot of the people at the party went on the trip with us, so we gave it a Vegas theme.
I got Casino and cards/dice balloons. Our favors were decks of cards that had die on them and said 'Lucky in Love.' I put the cards in baskets filled with shredded money and chocolate gold coins and more dice. I put casino chips made of chocolate scattered on the tables (everyone loved these...at the end of the night adults were fighting over them and scavenging around other people's tables for more!). The cake was a deck of cards with the King and Queen of hearts on it that carried the favor theme and said 'Lucky in Love.' And FH mother had gone to Atlantic City and 'borrowed' pens that said Bally's Casino all over them that we put in cups on the table.
Congrats!!! We had my brother's RD there 3 yrs ago......I love that place!!! The food is so yummy!

Yeah, I recommend Sergios for any event you might have in that neighborhood--birthdays, anniversarys, etc.. Mike was super nice, they have a large food selection and the price is incredible (including open bar, it was easily $10pp less than most other Italian restaurants we looked at). They have a separate party room and host murder mystery dinners once a month too!
