I think the dress looks better on YOU than the model (at least you've got some curves to fill out the dress.

I am a sucker for lace and I LOVE the asymetrical at the buttom with the lace.

The designer is James Clifford and Jim Hjelm.. they collaborated some deigns together. I found it at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. They were very nice there.. but I had an appt for 4 and I got there at 3:50. They made me wait until 4:40 to start trying on dresses! They weren't busy and all the workers were just kinda sitting around while I waited. Then 20 mins to five they call me in to start trying on dresses. At like 5:30, i commented about how quiet it was and the lady was like 'Uh that's because we are technically closed... since 5'. I was nice and held my composure bc I had this dress on and was really into it... but really I got pissed because they made me wait almost an hour and now I'm supposed to be applogetic that they are closed and I am keeping them? Not my problem... I was there for my appt on time.. and they should have taken me at that time. So advice to you.. if you plan on going to that store make an early appt and make sure they take you on time! If I knew they were closing at 5 I would have said something to them about making me wait. I didn't have a problem waiting bc my BM's were looking at dresses and trying them on in the mean time. Sorry for the rant.... but when I think about the store... that's what comes to mind!

I'm all confused about this dress thing. It's between this dress and another one. And the more I look at the model pic and all the comments it makes me want this dress. I go back and forth on it. I did cry in it.. but if I let myself I could have cried in the other dress too... but I held it in. Ahhh I don't know what to do!

AH! I heard bad reviews about Bridal Reflections! Ive been there a couple of times for fittings....for when i was a bridesmaid...have not tried any wedding dresses on yet. I was in a wedding in September and we got our bridesmaid dresses there. They were really pretty dresses but they were not altered or taken in right.....the hook in the back ripped off right away before the wedding even started and one other girl in the party's hook ripped off at one of her fittings! They put it back on right away for her and were embarrassed. And thats not the only complain Ive heard about Bridal reflections.......

I looked at so many websites for wedding gowns and Bridal Reflections is the only place that I have seen anything i liked.

I heard that when you put on 'the dress' you know when its 'the dress'......that make sense? If this dress made you have that feeling.....then definitly get honey! It looks great on you!!!

Oh WOW!
Well I wasn't thrilled with the service there... but I was planning on looking up where in Jersey they have this desinger and dress and get it there. It's cheaper and No sales tax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sooooooo glad you told me about all that with Bridal Reflections!
When I find a dress I look up the desinger to see where else they sell it and any other information on it. The other dress I found in Klienfelds but they also have it in Jersey for like 300 less and no sales tax... plus alterations are 350 as opposed to 500 with Klienfelds.

My problem is... I had THE FEELING 2 times! The first one, my BM cried, my mother and I almost cried. Then the second dress I cried and that same BM and my mother loved it but were adament that the 1st dress was better. 2 other BM came and saw the 2nd dress but not the 1st and they like that one but they haven't seen the other one. The one BM who likes the 1st dress.... she said this one kind of reminds her of that halloween costume... where they are half and half.. like half bride on one side and half groom on the other side. And now I can't get that out of my head... even though I didn't feel that way in the first place!

Well, then again.....all my friends who have gotten married got their wedding and BM's dresses at Bridal Reflections so they have to be doing something right, ya know? hahaha!

Ohhhh maybe Ill go into Jersey for the no tax deal! lol! It saves you lots for sure I bet!

Im still gonna look at some dresses there and see how I fell about the place....the only place Ive seen dresses that I like is at bridal reflections.

Don't worry! youll decide on the one for you =) I know how hard it must be!!! Good Luck!!! and youll look beautiful in either one you choose!
