So after trying on about 25 dresses I finally found 'the one.' The next decision is which color to order. The dress only comes in white or ivory (the ivory is a light ivory). I tried on the ivory in the salon and loved it but am nervous that it will have a yellow tone to it in pictures. Is this the case? Can you ladies please post some pics of your ivory gowns to ease my mind? Sorry I'm having trouble posting a pic of the dress but here's a link Dress pic

i ordered mine in ivory and just recently saw what it looks like in white and boy am i glad i didnt get white in my opinion it just looked cheap it lost the softness of it!!! I would go for ivory
This is my gown in ivory--I don't think ivory will come out yellow at all.

My gown is ivory, it had to be.
My skin is very pale and I look awful in white. Ivory on the other hand makes my skin look darker than it is. so it was a no brainer for me.
It doesn't look yellow at all.
that's so funny because I am SUPER white and I looked terrible in Ivory. I think it all depends on what YOU like. If you like the ivory go for it. I had every intention of going to an ivory dress but it made me look funny.

I had a Casablanca gown in Ivory. It's very subtle. In fact, I ordered my shoes in ivory also and they were a little too ivory.
I think that's the same material of the dress I'm ordering!! That's exactly what I was hoping to see! I agree that the ivory is so nice and soft and with the work on the dress I think its a perfect match. I think the ivory is a better match with my skin tone as well. Thanks for all you your help, especiall all of the pitcures...you guys are the best!

Actually it was on again over the weekend. It's on the Style Network - channle 118 for me (time warner).

I say Ivory that's what I am going with, with a Jasmine dress.
My personal opinion is you see the detail in the dress better with ivory.

The sample I tried on was in ivory and I loved the way it looked (it really looks white to me!).
I showed the swatch to FH and he thought it was white too.
Ivory these days is just a softer white.

I GOT IVORY FOR ME AND I LOVE MY GOWN IN THAT COLOR, HONESTLY ITA YOUR DECISION IN THE END. DO WHAT YOU FEEL YOU LIKE BEST... WHICH COLOR MAKES YOU SMILE MORE.. ANY HELP I AM HERE...

I ordered a casablanca dress in the ivory color. I was a little nervous myself but when I had my first fitting I was in love. I was so happy with the color. It is very soft and romantic and not a bright stark white. I would highly recommend it because you would not be disappointed.

I hate to say it but I feel the same way. Some fabrics aren't appealing to me in white. I think that Ivory is very soft and classic
