I had my first fitting on Saturday, and it went soooo much better than I expected. I bought the dress in February of '07, and by Christmas, had gained 15 pounds. I've been working my butt off since then... and when I put the dress on last Saturday, it fit!! In fact, the only thing that needs alteration is the hem - otherwise, it fit me like a glove.

Come on! You have so much time! Your wedding is at the end of October. I committed to a fitness program the last week in January, so what's that - less than 3 months ago? And I've lost inches everywhere because of it. I've dropped almost 2 sizes in 13 weeks. You have 6 months! You just have to reach a point where you say 'I want to be healthier and look my best at my wedding. It's gonna take a lot of hours at the gym, and I'll have to turn down cake and cookies most of the time, but I'll feel so good about myself so it'll be worth it.' And just do it!
