Here-here!! Beautiful!!! Bought our house in 7/00, didn't move in until 4/01. Down to the studs. I know it's overwhelming at first but when you see things coming together, you'll be a very happy person knowing it's being done your way and with new/solid materials. None of this painted over painted-paint mouldings, etc. Everything will be fresh and to your taste. I actually cried tears of joy when I saw tile going down in my bathroom because finally something looked pretty. I'll scan up some pictures tomorrow of before and after.
Hang in there...it is/will be lovely
thanks so much for letting me know there is light at the end of the tunnel. i almost had a breakdown a few times over the weekend. i would love to see your pics it would make me feel alot better.

hey...a levit right?!! thats the stage that we are getting out of now...we put up new insullation and sheetrock in most of the rooms...but still have more to go! ill try to post pics.
were doing it all ourselves (with the help of my incredible dad) so its taking a while...but it DOES get done!

Here is a 3 picture progression of my living room window ~ make sure you take tons of pics during the process ~ it will be over before you know it ~ and you'll hardly believe the before-shots after a while!!
