i know the 113 - i used to work right there - i have Many friends, family and EX FI in NYPD - 113 is not great but believe me, there are WORSE!!!

thanks.. theres a school right next door ... this is exactly where he wanted to be.. yes there are worse and this isnt the best but he wants to be busy so that he can get as many arrests as possible so he can move up FAST!!

i know i told him.. if he gets into a car (highly unlikely) not to put the air vents on.. they put powder in them so when u turn on the air it blows all over the blue uniforms i think its funny but he sure wouldnt!

CONGRATS TO YOUR FH AND ALL THE RECRUITS!!!
isn't it absolutely amazing when they walk in to 'New York, New York' by Frank Sinatra? i remember when my FH graduated last year and the moment i heard the music the most overwhelming feeling of pride washed over me knowing my man was down there!!
if you ever need to talk to a fellow bride of an NYPD rookie, feel free to FM me! some days are harder than others when he's a newbie on the streets!
ETA: my fh works in 113 too, and your FH will be on a foot post for the first six months , guaranteed. they won't let him in a car until like 7 mos. in, if he's lucky! (my FH totally HATED a foot post in the winter time!)

thank you so much its very comforting knowing there are a few brides on here who know what im going through! and its nice to just 'get it' with out having to explain!! and your right i was completely overwhelmed with pride!!! thats the best way to describe it!!.. and congrats to your FH as well... hes still a newbie!! what precient is he in?
