Tell me about it!!! 2 weeks from today is our RD!! I have so much to do, still!!!

My MOH is not happy w/ Macy's in Manhasset though... they have no record of her paying the balance on her dress so she wasn't allowed to take it home last night!!! Meanwhile, there was another bride standing next to us fighting w/ them about money, too! Clearly, they are not reliable as far as that goes. She said to them, 'so what now its the customer's word vs. the store's word?' They want her to find a receipt but she thinks she threw it out since she thought it was taken care of. I have heard bad things about Macy's and now I know why

oh no!!!!!! Can she call the credit card company/bank and get something faxed?? Maybe call there again and speak to someone else? How can they not have record of someone paying??!?!

That's the worst part - she paid in cash so she can't call anyone to verify! The girl there told her to call her back today and they'd see what they could do. My MOH started crying (b/c this is just the way her life goes, all the time) and the girl felt so bad. So we'll see what they end up doing for her, if anything!

Oh no!!! Well I hope they work it out!!!

I had the same thing happen on my gown(not at Macy's)....they charged me a second time, and then I found the ticket.
Still not sure if they have reversed the charge.
It was a pretty frustrating feeling.
