What does everyone think of this microfiber dining set? Is it too contemporary? Is $600 too expensive for a kitchen table? My FH is flipping out over how much we are spending (as all of you know). I tired to explain to him that it is a good deal. It is 5 chairs, table, and leaf.
its a gorgeous set, but i think its the white chairs that make it contemporary looking. the table itself is definatly classic though

I really like it. For me, I'd be afraid of the light colored seats getting ruined if someone dropped something, but they are very pretty!

Very nice and I think a great price!!! I would be concerned about the light color fabric even though it is microfiber. I have a light tan couch in microfiber and stains do not come off.

the price is great! My table set was about that as well.
I have micorfiber for my couch and love it but i dont think id be able to do it in white like that! I can see it now spilling some sauce or something on it!

Quick question...is it for your kitchen or dining room? and are you going with the white/ivory color? If the kitchen, maybe a darker color microfiber so it hides the stains, dirt and normal wear.
I love love the set, were did you find it?

We have an apartment so it would be in a 'dinig room' but it is our kitchen table because the kitchen can't fit a table.

I have to agree that it is very contemporary looking
I would be concerned about the light color...even though it's microfiber, the colors from clothes can rub off onto any material. I'm just a worrier though.
I don't think the price is bad at all. I think we paid something very similar to that for our set as well from JC Penny (we get it on Wednesday!!)
