Hi 07ers! I could use some help, with pics if possible.
I just found out that my cousin is expecting. Yay! We'd been planning for a month to go dress shopping this Saturday, and now I'm in a bind - she'll be 6 months along at my wedding. She'll need a maternity dress by then, right? I know she wouldn't want to wear a muumuu or anything! And I'd still like all my BMs to have one cohesive look - whether it's all one color, or the same style dress.
Do you have any pics of what a bridal party looks like with one preggo BM? It would really help. Thanks!
My matron of honor was 5.5 months pregnant at the time of my wedding. She purchased the same dress as the other girls (she wasn't preggo at the time), but unfortunately the design of the dress made it impossible to alter. She found a black dress made of a jerseyish material about 1 month before my wedding. Pix in my album, she's the smallest of the white girls. My MOH & one of my BMs were pregnant at our wedding ... both about 3 months, so they weren't showing too much.
They're they girls that are on either side of me
The dress was Bill Levkoff 966, and it worked really well b/c of the a-line shape ... the seamstress just brought it up underneath the sash, instead of hemming it from the bottom, to make the a-line wider for them. One ordered a larger size b/c she and her hubby were thinking of trying before the wedding ... the other and her hubby weren't trying , but it worked out in the end fortunately.

i wouldnt really worry to much about how your preggo BM will make your pics look, if thats what youre getting at. id think more about what BM dress she'd feel comfortable in and id prob ask for suggestions of which dresses to check out. JMO.

My SIL was 8 months preggo for my wedding.......
She wore the same dress as the other girls, we got them at David's Bridal and it really was very flattering in some of the picture you couldn't even tell.....
one of my bridesmaids was 6.5 months pregnant!!! Sooo cute!!!
She is the third one from the left!!
edited to add: It was from Ann Taylor. It was an A-line dress with the sash! Sh said she was very comfortable and she looked adorable! You could barely tell in some pictures!
My sis (MOH) was 9 months. But you can't go by her she had my nephew Aidan 3 days after the wedding. She gained 12 lbs. and he weighed 8lbs.12 oz. I'll try to get a closer shot

My BM was 4 months pregnant at my wedding and she wore the same dress as the other BM... she is the first girl on the left... you couldn't tell in any of the pictures...

My NINE month preggo SIL wore this dress, in RED/cranberry in the picture. It was the exact color as the other girls & looked great. The only difference is that hers wasn't strapless. She looked great & it was special.
She matched, and I told her not to hide her preg....I thought it was neat that my nephew could be there...sort of.
