PICS R WORKING So Upset with BM Dress Colors...Need your help

Original post by Bebalina

Ok so here’s the thing, I ordered my BM Dresses back in October….and yes I do love the dresses we chose, but here’s where my dilemma happens…I went yester. To see the bm dresses to check out how the colors came out. What I originally wanted, is my MOH to be in a darker/brighter shade of pink then the bms…ok fine…
So yester we go look at them, and I love the shade of pink the MOHs dress is in…def not a color every one of my grls can pull off…but MOH totally can…. And I love the shade of pink the BM dresses are in…but I’m not sure if I like how the 2 look together…
What do you ladies think? What can I do to pull them together?
(FYI- both dresses will have the black sash in the middle)

k heres the pics (hope its working now)

I agree. Use the flowers to tie everything together. It will look so fabulous.

As a side note to make you feel better when Liza Huber (Susan Lucci's daughter) was married last year she had some girls in red BM dresses and some girls in Pink BM dresses. She then had them hold pink and red flowers. It looked so awesome. So look at yourself as a trend setter! No worries. It will look beautiful.

Yea I'm very into the pink and black theme....so thats why i'm gonna do the black string instead of the matching color...MOH will have it like that too...
and for shawls i'm going to do the sheer organza ones....
so u think roses in both colors would look best? maybe just the moh has some white ones added in,,,? or the stephanitis? (sp?)

another idea - maybe order extra fabric from the manufacturer of the MOH's dress to make a sash for your bridesmaids

i would also pool it together with flowers

I think they'll look great together.

I actually had your MOH's color for my whole bridal party. Here's picture of my boks (sorry its not the best picutre) The Bo-K's were different shades of pink roses (fushia, pink, etc.)

Oh, well then the black string should look great. And flowers in different shades of pink like those posted above, would look lovely.

Someone suggested some cream colored flowers and I remembered my favorite bouquet pic. The only thing is that I've heard that peonies don't hold up well in warm weather. Either way, it gives you an idea colorwise. I attached a seond photo, but I'd immediately nix the orange & peach shades from the bouquet.

Or this one (again, nixing the yellowish orange flowers):

Your colors are simillar to mine. I am doing fuschia and light pink. My bo-ks will be hot pink and light pink roses with purple as an accent. Hope this helps.

I think both colors work well together, plus the black sash will tie them together.

I wore the lighter shade (or something similar) in a friends wedding. Our flowers were stargazer lillies and pink roses. They looked really beautiful (I don't have a pic to share, sorry).
