no and we really wanted to! but we will be expanding at some time down the road and we'll do it then.
it was going to cost a fortune. we are just going to paint it to match for now and hope it blends in. that was a big decision for us to make believe it or not! and we thought it would just make more sense to move it when we knew where it would stay for good. ( :

you couldnt even see it the pics so thats great. i can understand picking the things that are most important to spend money on. we are doing the same thing.

ill be over there today. ill take more pics. DH and i stare in disbelief. this all has to be done in two weeks too! so its exctingni knowing what it will look like then!

thigs are coming along lol although too slow for me. the elctrcial work i did in the house was extensive so it took a while to get down but at least when its done i can say that the electrcial in my house is 100 percent new. now they are sheetrocking and the plumber is to come next week and start doing the rough stuff. what are you doing with your washing machine? are you doing stainless appliances?

we are making the second bedroom upstairs a laundry room. which is why we'll have to push up out and around when we want little babies!
chris needs an office because he works from home..so downstairs we have the kitchen, living room, dining room, huge closet, office/guest room (theres a pull out couch) and bathroom. upstairs we have our bedroom which we modified, i have to show you pics...and then the lauindry room which we are putting a half bath in.
this house it totally being tailored for our needs until we can make it bigger and have all the space we need!

you know...in two weeks you can come by? or even now! and see...just in case you need ideas. its hard getting everything you want. its not a lot of space to work with, you know?! but its awesome!
Eta: not stainless appliances..we eneded up with black and almond. our countetop is black.

yeah i know its hard to re do levitt capes because there is so small of a space but you have to be completely creative and eventually spend some money lol. i didnt want to dormer rigth away either because im just not sure if i will be there for an extended period of time so i just wanted to make it as nice as possible for least amount of money and if i want to stay by then we would have built up so equity and i can see spending the $$$ on a dormer

more! ok, here is the living room/dining room. the archway is painted in river rock textured paint which is really cool! and the new stoce and micro. the kitchen has a way to go still with the tile and paint, but heres som anyway ( :
