I was raving about it to Jim (hubby) on the way home then got home and the pics were gone.

Felt kinda bummed kept trying to describe it to Jim.

I just DRAGGED him over to the computer. He says 'WOW!' and I quote him:
'She looks really pretty in that dress'
'Just like one of those ball gowns that's so cool'

LOL ok, I should explain Jim doesnt really 'get' Ballgown vs A line dress definitions.. if it's pretty, big, poofy and impressive it's like a 'ballgown' .. I've heard him say that for another girls A line dress.. so take the word 'ballgown' as a compliment from Jim.

That is very sweet. I think it is hysterical that your FI looked at the dress. Because my FI would rather be run over by a truck than look at other brides' dresses!!

FYI for those that are interested. The dress is a true ball gown...it actually has a hoop in it!

I think it's gorgeous!

GASP!!!! wow... wOW.... and WOW!!!! NOW THAT IS A WEDDING GOWN FIT FOR OHEKA CASTLE!!! Oh, it is soooooooo gorgeous!!! I know what you mean about 2nd thoughts but no, this gown is your gown! It's absolutely perfect.... it's def what I would wear if I was getting married at oheka!! This is a wow dress... I LOVE IT!!

and being different is great- you chose that dress b/c it suits you and what you wanted! It looked like a runway dress that you see in all the magazine for whats up and coming for the next season! i say good for you for not doing something thats considered the usual!!

thanks girls...I just woke up and how nice to wake up to so much support.

The dress designer is Amelia Casablanca, an italian couture designer. They only sell the dresses in Europe and Kleinfelds. So one more reason to trek to Brooklyn.
