picture locations...

In order to help many brides, including myself, i thought this might be helpful...

Could you please just take a moment to answer:

1. Name of the place you're having your pictures taken after the ceremony?

2. What county is the place in?

3. Is a photo permit required?

4. Is a fee required? If so, and you wouldn't mind, can you post how much it is?

Thank you SO much ladies!!

well for e-pics i went to gantry park in LIC, pics in my album for anybody who wants to see the location. Its on the water so you have amazing view of the city, plus you have a whole area with grass and the whole park setting.

It is in queens

no permit or fees required, just go and take pics and have fun

For wedding, either doing the city or brooklyn promenade

We are going to take pictures at Iron Pier Beach, on the north fork, by Aquebogue. One of our first dates was there and even though the photographer normally does e-pics someplace else he would do this for us. Its so pretty there. We do not have a back up, lets just hope the day of our e-pics is nice.
ANy suggestions for the east end?

ANy suggestions for the east end?

Ponquogue Beach & Shinnecock inlet in Hampton Bays...

drive over Ponquogue Bridge and make a left onto Dune Rd and go all the way to the end...the rock jeddy makes for nice pics as well as the beach and dunes...we took our e-pics and pics before our wedding there...(pics in albums.)

No fees
No fee for parking (i think...if you park over toward the left near Oaklands restaurant...other spots require a beach sticker but i believe starting in July)
Suffolk County

We're going to attempt 2 places before RH:

West Sayville Marina by the golf course (maybe) &
Bayard Cutting Arboredum in Great River.

Haven't looked into permits yet.

Ok, I am of no help since I have not yet decided but I am pretty excited that there seems to be a lot of nice places in Huntington to take pics. My RH is not far from there and maybe I can get some nice pics in at one of these locations! Thanks ladies!
