So I need to figure out a picture location for our pics before the ceremony. I am hoping for outdoor pics but would need an indoor 'backup' just in case it rains. I live in Rocky Point and the reception/ceremony is in Medford so I would like to stay somewhat local. Oh...and free is best, I really don't want to pay a 'site fee' if I can avoid it. Any suggestions?? TIA

There are some gorgeous parks in Babylon - is that w/in a reasonable distance? I am looking into taking my pics at Chelsea Mansion, but not happy about forking over $350 for the site fee..

No... Babylon is a 45 minute drive each way I know for sure cause I grew up there! I was thinking either a local beach by me or possibly a park. I am also a Dowling alumni so I may be able to take pics there for free.

Never heard of it...where is it exactly?? BTW...I forgot we are neighbors! I was thinking possibly cedar beach? What do you think?

well it will be insanely crowded. you know how that place gets.
i;d go check out peconic. take a ride out there. its amazing!
To take pictures at Dowling, all you have to do is contact student services and they can hold your date. Your photographer has to send insurance over to them as well and they suggest making a $100 donation. I'm taking my pictures at Dowling . I'm going to have the courtyard and a few rooms inside to take my pictures.

It says on the website that pics can only be taken after 5?? Is this what you were told?

I went to Dowling too and my parents live in Shoreham. I was going to take indoor photos at the Holtsville Ecological Center and there is no charge.
