how fancy are you looking for here?i grew up in garden city and people are always taking wedding pictures at the gazebo here.

thought o the gazebo but i think that's all there is around that park? Its the area in front of the Garden City Hotel - that park? If its free - that's def on the list...I just want a nice backdrop/scenery to photos. I was hoping for trees and forest-like ambiance...

not the one in front of the hotel - the one on the corner of stewart and hilton - it's by the firehouse and village hall.

I just realized that my top 2 contenders for wedding pictures are closed by 4:30-5 pm! (Hempstead House at 4:30, Old Westbury Gardens at 5 pm).

are you SERIOUS!? F-F-F-F-F-F-F! I was hoping to go to HH... but we'd need it until 5:30!

We're taking our pictures at the restored Nunley's Carousel on Museum Row in Westbury

yeah, I totally didn't think of the hours until I was reading some 2007 and 2008 boards where the brides were like 'oh my god I have to change my picture location because we will only have a 1/2 hour to do everything!'..

So I am glad I started just thinking about this now so I can save up $$ for any site fees, if needed.
I may just save these places for my E-pics.



I mean, I think I'd still be able to do it cause my church is at 1 in bay shore.. figure its over around 2, get there around 2:45.. so I'd have a few hours.. but my CH doesn't start until 6:00.. so what can we do for an hour and a half... unless we find an additional location.

really?? on the reservation form for westbury gardens it says the last arrival time is 5:30 ??

Exactly, our pics are from 5-6:30 and I'm pretty sure they have a 5:30 time slot too.
