So yesterday I posted about this dress and planned on someday getting to the mall to try it on. We went into the city yesterday to Economy Candy for our candy bar and Paper Presentation for our programs and I noticed an Anthropologie store on the corner. I couldn't believe my luck that they had my size AND I actually liked it once I tried it on!
I didn't like my head in this picture so I cut if off! Also, you'll notice I practically match my bedroom wall and if you look really close you'll also notice my messy paint job with paint on the molding! I'm not perfect, what can I say.
I have brown patent leather mary janes on with the dress...that matches, right? I'm kind of thinking of getting a belt to go with the dress - the waist is kind of high and I think it would look nice but I'm not really an accessory girl so all you dress up girls...if you can help me and tell me if that's the right thing to do and also steer me in the direction of a belt that would work, I'd appreciate that!
LOVE IT! and I LOVE the mary janes...Im not a dress up girl myself but im sure a belt would look nice...although I like it without!

Loooooove the dress! So happy you got it! I really like the shoes with it too! For a belt I would do a faux croc belt in brown. Fashion Bug has one for $20.00
I was looking for a Tortoise Bangle but loved that!

The dress is adorable!! The shoes you have on match perfectly. I think a belt would go great with the dress so your waist could be really defined just not sure of what type maybe a brown belt but not sure of what style.

I think a belt will do a few things for you. It will make your waist look smaller AND it will also tie in the shoes. The shoes are a little dark and the dress color is a little bright.. so having a belt that matches your shoes will pull the shoe color up and just like I said... bring it all together. haha.. kinda like putting throw pillows on a couch.
Also - i know I said the shoes are dark and the dress is bright... they still match... but you just want to blend it in a lil bit... if that makes sense???

Love the dress and the shoes! I am belt girl so I say go for it but it should be the same tone as your shoes!
