ok my church is at 3 a full mass, 20 minute drive to reception, the cocktail hour is at 6 is this enough time for pictures about 1 hour or not enough, i don't want to see him before...

You should be fine - just be sure to inform your photographer that he/she has a limited amount of time and to plan accordingly.
