I'm planning on doing a picture sign in board instead of a guest book, that way we can hang it up in our house afterwards. I could have my photographer do it, but it would be really expensive. Do any of you know how I can go about doing it myself? And where can I get all the stuff I need to do it? We plan to use our engagement picture and blow it up and put it in a frame with a board around it the guests can sign. I've seen it done before at my photographers studio and LOVE the idea, but not sure where to start. What type of board do I need to use? What's the best size to blow the picture up? Where can I get a nice, but inexpensive frame?

I am not sure how much it is, but I think you can get it done at Staples. As for framing I would try Michaels. They usually have a coupon in Sundays paper for framing. HTH

For the signing part you want photo mats, you can find them in the scrapbooking area (usually) they are cardboard with the center cut out at an angle. They are usually only about 1 1/2 inches wide (framing the picture) HTH

we got our picture signing fram from Bed Bath & Beyond. It's a really good size. Regular price was $39.99 but we used our 20% off coupon for it and save some bucks!

FH & I are planning on doing both. I got the pictures sign in board at Party City and I think that I paid $5.99 for it. I am going to print a picture of FH & I and put it in the center. After the wedding I am going to put a wedding picture in the center and then frame it myself.

We got ours at Pottery Barn Outlet--can't remember price...8x10 picture...used one at the wedding from us at an Inaugural Ball and then put a wedding pic in afterwards...

I've heard that Pottery Barn carries it - I see someone above found it at the Pottery Barn outlet. I've heard the Pottery Barn one is a nice BIG size.
Here's the thing, you want to get one where the matte is a wide enough size for people to sign it. Try Michael's, AC Moore, Target, Pottery Barn. Also do a quick search online.
