Ok. SO my dilemma is that we are getting married at the RH. Chateau La Mer and we wanted to meet before hand to take pictures without everyone seeing us. I am staying at the same hotel as FH and the guests but my BMs and I will be in the Bridal Suite where we will get ready. Does anyone have any suggestions how we should handle leaving the hotel, limos and pictures. Ideally I wanted limo to pick us up take us to place where there is indoor and outdoor facilities for pictures. Do a staged meeting with FH and I alone first and then have the other join in for pics then head over to the RH. What would be the best way to handle this so that (1) guests dont see me before the wedding leaving the hotel. (2) FH and I can see each other in private (3) we dont spend a fortune on limos. Do we get one limo have the guys dropped off at picture taking site then have it come back for the girls? and then after picture taking all go over to RH together?? If not then they are making me get 2 limo packages and the minimum is 3 hours for each limo!!!! What to do????
Or should I just go to the RH to take pics, but then we still have the same situation with the limos? Or the girls can get dropped off and then they can go pick up the guys???
Any suggestions would be helpful...

Re: Picture taking/Limo Dilemma
wow, that was really confusing ok, what i am doing is going to get ready at the hotel. I am going to be leaving there at like 3 so I am hoping noone will see me the reception is at 7. I am having a limo for 3 hours. The limo will take FH and groomsmen to the reception hall. Have the limo come back for me and my bridemaids and parents. I will have the photographer set up a special meeting for us alone. THen we will take pictures there so we dont need the limo after that. Does that make sense. I was going to go somewhere else to take the pictures but, then it just gets too complex.

Oh ok. So you are going to have the guys go over first early and then you are going to get in your gown and everything and head over? Then take pics there for 2 hours prior to the start of ceremony.... hmmm. Thats actually a good idea. That was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Re: Picture taking/Limo Dilemma
if you want to save money and it would work this way for you, you could just get 1 big limo to take everyone to RH - - that's if you were satisfied to take all your pics there.
we used Sir Oliver limos and they have an option of just picking up and dropping off and it doesn't require 3 hrs of use. but if it's multiple drop and wait for pics then that wouldn't work. hope that makes sense.

Re: Picture taking/Limo Dilemma
How far away is your hotel from where you are going to be taking pics?
You could always leave first have the limo turn around and pic the boys up....then drop them off with you to do pics. Then the same limo pick you up and take you to the RH.

Re: Picture taking/Limo Dilemma
we pretty much did what you are describing.
we took pics at OWG before our ceremony & reception ... it was just us and our bridal party.
we had the option of 1 limo to make two trips each way, and decided against it because it would be adding on extra time (group #1 would have to stand around and wait for group #2 to arrive).
what we did was stagger the times of leaving the hotel. the guys left first in their limo ... and we left about 15 minutes after they were gone.
we didn't run into any guests in the hotel because they were all busy getting ready in their rooms
obviously, it cost more money to have 2 limos but I am soooooooooooooooooo glad we did.
when we were done at OWG and ready to head over to the RH, one of our limos got stuck in the mud! we all squeezed into the other limo. it was tight, but we didn't miss too much time. if we had to first call the limo company and wait for a limo to come pick us up, we would have been late. i know this is a worst case scenario, and i don't want to scare you, but it DID happen to me!!
