Is anyone getting there pictures done BEFORE the ceremony?
WE are!
if so...how long are you alloting?
my ceremony is 1130, they wanna start pictures at 930...is that too long?!
FH is freaking out!

We're having pics before our ceremony. Ceremony starts at 5:30, we are picking the guys up around 2 pm.

we are too! ceremony starts at 11:30 and photographer said he will be with me and the girls at 8 am to catch us getting ready and then we will get with the guys....

We are! Ceremony is at 6:30 and my photog said he'll be by us around 2:30ish.

We are too. Ceremony starts at 12. Have to be ready by 9ish meeting a RH at 10 to take pictures before. Us ladies will start with the pictures at the hotel, where we will be getting ready.

You guys are awesome....our ceremony is 11:30 and we are doing pics at 930, FH is having a heart attack saying he has never heard of anything so retarted as 2 hrs of pictures he is freaking out saying its vain ...
i dont know what to say to him

Two hours of taking pics traveling o and from locations, being there early, etc...it's not just pics, it's all the other stuff that tkes time. Tell him those things. We are getting married at 6pm and have to be ready at 2pm!!! that's when the photographer gets to my house where the girls are getting ready. But we are doing 2 locations!

I plan on taking Pics before hand. My cermony is at 11:30am, I plan on meeting at RH where cermony is @ 9 am, and have the guys come no later than 9:15am and Take pics then. I think it's just enough time.
We are but I plan on being there by 10am and FH and his family at 10:30. If his mother is not too much of a PITA then it should be fine. I'm not into a million pics of family and the bridal party. I say two shots of each is fine.

we did! Our ceremony started at 5:30, and we started phtos at 2:30. This included getting ready photos, outdoor pictures, formal portraits and all family portraits; ketubah signing, etc.

HEY ALISSA-
YES!! you have to start early ! Tell FH- its not just pictures of you, two, its all the setting up
**Plus- you are 'supposed ' to hide in the bridal suite, before the ceremony ( from the guests) if you want to make a 'grand entrance' so its NOT REALLY TWO HOURS!!
My sisters BOTH had 11: 30 am- ceremonies
We had to be in the hair salon- at---- 4: 30 AM !!!! for long hair and make up, etc !!!!! ( and we were STILL RUSHING)
