I got my dress at the first store I went to...but I went to a lot with my sister when she was looking for her dress and none of them let us take pics.....she tried sneaking pics and got caught once....I was so embarrassed of my sister

Davids Bridal had no problems.
I got my dress at Fantasia Bridal-you couldnt take pics unless you put a deposit down.

none of the salons I went to would let you take pictures until you actually purchased the dress. (or at least put the DP on it)
I know there are some salons out there that don't mind pictures at any time, but I would say most don't.

Don't ask, just take when noone is looking, like alone in the dressing room. If they catch you, they tell you 'We don't allow pictures' and you say 'sorry' and that's that. I did that countless times! Don't ask, appologize later!![]()

Helen's Bridal in Commack always let me take a ton of pictures.
David's bridal let me take them too...
Macy's got mad, but then the lady told us to take the pics in the dressing room so she wouldn't get in trouble.

I believe most bridal salons (especially the small boutique ones) will only allow pics after you actually purchase the dress. However, if you are sneaky enough, you can get away with it if you do it in the dressing room. This only works if it's one of those big places i.e., RK Bridal.

The lady at kelinfields got scolded b/c of us. The manager heard and saw my sister take a pic and the sales lady came back and was like...i hope you weren't taking pics...my manager jsut said something to me.....
who cares, we had major issues with that store and them putting a picture of my sister in the dress she was going to buy in the newspaper without her permission and all of our family and her Fh and his family saw it too....
it was like the 100th dress she tried on, fell in love with it, then didn't want it b/c everyone saw the pic of her in it in the newspaper...such drama!
Now she ordered a diff dress she looks amazing in.,,,

well at macys in smith haven mall once i ordered my dress i was allowed to take pictures but not before

the salons i went to did not allow pics and everytime i went into the dressing room with my mom they would just come right in so we didn;t have time to sneak any pics

Helens in commack does....when we went to davids bridal for my friends dress they didnt let us take pics....neither did estelles

Davids Bridal by Smithhaven Mall allowed me to take pics.
I really don't see why they don't allow you to take pics, as if you can't see the damn thing online

After you purchase the dress they let you take pictures.
But if you want to be sneaky, always turn the flash off and have a look out :)
