We are getting married in Babylon and our reception is also in Babylon. After church we have from 3:30 to 6:30 to take pictures before we have to be at the RH by 6:30 to take pics there before CH. We have looked at different parks to take pics in but because it is the middle of the summer and will be hot we dont want to be in the heat too much. We were thinking of going back to my parents house after church and take pictures there. My parents have a beautiful backyard and lots of flowers. Plus they have ac in the house and there will be food there and people will have access to clean restrooms. My parents live 10 min away from the church so its very local. Does that seem weird?

Pictures---bad or good idea?
Doesn't seem weird at all. It's good planning!

Jessi- Definitely will not be stepping foot in Argyle. When my niece was little we took her there and she was walking and then she said this must be the goose bathroom lol

Sounds like a good idea, just make sure you don't have a lot of people bothering you while you take pictures.

Pierette you should take a drive down lighthouse road, it's a cute cul de sac and has a mini lighthouse on it (like 7 ft tall). It's right by the Venetian, could be good for a photo op
I definitely will look for that. We are going around Babyon to scope out some possible locations that maybe we werent aware of so this is such a great suggestion!! Thanks Jessi!!

I think it's a good idea!
At my cousins wedding we took most of the pictures at her parents house, and then a few at the reception hall. No other locations visited.
At our wedding we are starting at our own house and doing a first look photo session at home, then will have the wedding party join us for a few before we head off somewhere (don't knowwhere yet). I would have went to my mom's house where i grew up she always had lots of flowers and gardens, but she just sold the house :( - and FIL's house is too small to hold everyone - so our house it is!
