Pictures before Ceremony

For the ladies who took pictures before the ceremony, I need help with the timing and process that you used/ will use.

I am getting married at the RH at 7:30. The cocktail hour starts at 8pm.

Our photo/video people come to my mothers house at 3pm, all of the bridesmaids will be there too.

The groomsmen are all at the hotel (all from OOT).

I would like to take pictures at a beach and only have one limo.

Did you take pictures before the ceremony with only the Bridal party? Or with the family as well?

Did you also take a few pictures after you were married?

How did you and the groom first see each other?

We took pictures before hand at the RH just the bridal party and my parents (b/c they came with me to the RH). We arrived there at 10:30 ceremony was 12:30, we had to take pictures after also because we didnt have enough time. During the CH we took pic with the rest of the family from both sides.
We only had 1 limo, the limo pick up FH and his guys drop them at the RH. Pick me up and my girls and drop us at the RH.

so you probably only got the 3 hour package for the limo?

I am hoping that we can pick up the guys , stop by the girls, make the grand entrance of us seeing each other, take pictures by the beach then go to the RH.. will this be able to be done in 3 hours?

We took pics before the ceremony. The limo picked the girls up first, dropped us off at the beach, then turned around and got the guys. While we waited for the guys my photog took pics of just us then they hid me in the bathroom. When the guys came they had DH face the water and I snuck up on him and tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned around and saw me he cried
We finished all the bridal party pics at the beach then met our families at the RH for the rest of the pics. We had all pics done before the ceremony and didnt miss a second of CH. HTH!

ETA: The limo picked the girls up at 8:00am and we were all at the RH by 10:00.

I think you are going to need more time than that..
Also how is your FH going to get there with only one trip of the limo to the beach??

ETA: how far is your house to the hotel to the beach and to the RH?? and what day of the week is your wedding? you need to consider traffic and all that

I was planning on having us meet at my mother's house (she landscapes it beautifully)..

The reason why we are not meeting each other at the beach is because he is about 30 minutes from the beach and I am about 20-25 minutes from the beach... it would be silly for the limo to drop me off then pick him up because the ladies would be waiting there for an hour.

My wedding is on a Saturday evening...so the traffic shouldnt be too bad

I still think you should have a 4 hrs limo. I see it this way
you and your DH meet at your mom for pictures. Pick up groomsman. than 30 min to get to the beach. Pictures can go from 1 1/2 to to 2 + depending how much. Than 30 min just in case something is runing late.
