Pictures between Hicksville & John Anthony's

Hi girls. Is there any neat places to take pictures between Hicksville and John Anthony's in Babylon? We won't have much time after the church so didn't want to go too much out of our way.

Also JA brides...besides the deck by the water is there any gardens there at all?

I think it's called Argyle Park a few blocks before, on Merrick Road.

Very cool, we'll definitely look into that. Is it more than just grass?

I just did a search for it and Newsday did a brief story on it. It looks nice, there is a pond & all.

THANKS SO MUCH.

Is it really only a few blocks from JA's?

I think dish1002 is thinking of the same place I am. I dont know what the park is called but it's across the street from the Babylon train station. They have an absolutely beautiful waterfall and I always see wedding parties taking their pictures there. It's located on Montauk highway. Not sure what route your taking from hicksville, but if you take 135 down to merrick road, there's a park in Massapequa called Marjorie Post. They have a lovely garden that a lot of people dont know about. The local brides know of it, and take full advantage of it!!! The park also has a pond, you might also want to take that into consideration. Oooh!! I just remebered 2 other places for you that only locals know about. Across the street from Marjorie post park is an exclusive community called Nassau Shores. You go down two lights past the park to East shore drive. Go down about a mile, past the catering hall the Riviera. Keep going down and stay on east shore drive. At the very end is a small park with a picturesque waterview. The other one is 5 lights down from the park called Clocks blvd. About a 1/4 mile down at the end of the block is another waterview park. Kinda small, but very nice. Sorry so long!! Hope this helps!!
