how long are you ladies allowing for pictures? Whether its your time between the ceremony and reception or just time before it begins?
I am trying to figure it out....my RH said we are only allowed in 2.5 hours prior to the start time otherwise they charge to let us in early. Is this enough time to take pics? we dont want to miss the cocktail hour but we also dont want to pay to take pictures elsewhere
what would you do? hope 2.5 hours is enough (which is really 2 hours bc we have to sign the ketubah and stuff) or spend the money - better safe than sorry

Re: pictures - day of wedding
we're doing a 2 hour photo session at the NCMA pre-ceremony and the photography is coming 2 hours before we leave the for the museum for getting ready pictures. im sure in the hour we have btw end of ceremony and cocktail hour we'll do some more pics at the church and at the hall. im starting early because once cocktail hour starts i only want to be concerned with partying!

Re: pictures - day of wedding
My RH is only allowing us to get there 1 hour early and I had orginally planned for 2. Since it is December I dont want to take pics outside and freeze everybody out. Now I have to pay my limos an extra $500 plus find someplace else to take pics. :::Grrr:::

2 hours should be plenty of time. That's what our photographer said!

Re: pictures - day of wedding
our rh told us that it usually takes 2 hours...so we allotted two hours between ceremony and cocktail hour because we plan to attend that...there is no way fh will miss it haha
