Pictures inside if it rains...

For those of you that are taking (or took) pictures at your reception hall before the ceremony.... what did you plan in case of rain? I'm just assuming it's going to be nice, so we would plan to take pictures on the grounds, but I should have a back up plan. I know there is another affair going on during the day at my venue. I'm just not sure we can do them inside...they have a small lobby area

ya know...didn't even think about this at all!

I know Fox Hollow does more than 1 function at a time, but we'll probably just squeeze in wherever we can. If it even looks like it would rain that week I'm going to get cool gold umbrellas for FH/myself and our BP - I wouldn't mind going outside in a drizzle. Maybe we can all bring our rainboots, too - I've seen some cute pics like that.

never thought about it either, and we chose our hall because of the grounds.

The did say that the staff can follow us w umbrellas and a blanket but who knows.

Oh wow honestly i never even thought about that.. ahh!!

I worried about this same thing. I booked the grounds and inside the Vanderbilt Mansion for pictures this way we'd be covered either way.

Christine, maybe see if you can take pictures at the Carriage house in case of rain? That might make for nice pictures or what about at the pond that's right there under those great big trees?

Pam, do you mean the Country House in Stony Brook? or the Carriage House in Babylon? The Country House is right up the road from 3VI!

They do have a gazebo across the street right near the boats... I'll take cloudy at this point, just not downpouring!! haha
