I gave my bridesmaids the option of choosing their own dress from Bill Levkoff in one color (as long as it's a long dress). Anyway my MOH is concerned w/ how that's going to look. I feel like it'll look fine...but I was wondering if anyone had any pics so that I can show her it'll look fine.

I don't have pics, but I have seen this done before...It looks beautiful! Each girl gets to pick a style that flatters them and they end up feeling fantastic in their dress. Actually...I'll try and find pics from a wedding I was in where we did this.

then the last pics, terrible pic b/c no one was paying attention to my fh trying to take pictures....but, just so you can see the girls standing near each other.
Sorry...computer froze up big time...let's try that again...
They are not wearing that color (or those skirts or anything in that matireal....mine are all georgette (the matte fabric)) but at least it gives you an idea of how a BP looks in all different dresses

I think it looks ok. At least I hope it does...as my girls are all wearing different dresses too. In satin Victorian Lilac dresses, I'm sure they will not be mistaken for someone who is not in the bridal party.

i dont but in most cases i've seen, i think it looks fine. maybe you could try going to davids bridal website and doing that 'dress your wedding' thing. you can pick similar dresses from their site and put it all togehter to see what your bridal party will look like

Same material and same color creates uniforminity even if the dresses are all diff; all chiffon, all satin, all georgette, whatever.
We didnt do diff dresses except my MOH but we did diff colors which my mom was concerned about and it looked great.

I was going to do this, but ended up changing my mind. I had a pretty small BP (1 MOH, 4 BMs) and I was worried that it would look odd if 2 of them wanted the same dress .... and I didn't know how to decide who would get that dress if 2 of them wanted the same one .... with a larger BP, I think it might work out better.
It was easier to just pick 1 dress.
But I think its a nice look if it works for your BP ....

I was worried about this too, but almost all of the girls had more than one dress they liked, and nobody actually picked the same on (although some liked the same ones)....some of them would easily have switched to please me I know (and some of them look good in most all of the dresses anyway!)

I don't have pics, but I am doing this. All of my girls have different body types and I want to feel great the day of my wedding. If you look up BM dresses on line you can find some pics with girls in different dresses.
