At work we have a courtyard with a pond. We used to only have 3 fish.... now we got a mother duck and 6 ducklings! They are just so cute. Whenever I am feeling grumpy at work I go outside and one look at them makes me feel so much happier! I took some pics of them today:

They are sooo friendly... not afraid of people at all. When we sit down for lunch out there they come running over and peck at our feet I LOVE them!

Julz we had the same thing!! The mother duck had the babies in one courtyard and the pond was in the other. The custodians closed off the hallways surround them and marched them through the hallway to the other courtyard with the pond. They grow so quick. They seem to double their size every other day. When I went back to my school last week they were soooo big they looked like they were fully grown. They are just so precious. I miss looking at them everyday!!
But it was funny watching the custodians march them through the hallway!!

Nah, my mom's afraid of any kind of bird. I think it's a normal fear. I'm afraid of ants...people find that really strange.
