Pictures of my Trip...

Ive traveled a lot... my egypt pictures sadly have all been wiped out i dont know whats wrong with my memory card, im trying to recover them..but until than i was in Dubai for a few days, and Pakistan the Northern [mountainous areas] for a few days...never have i seen such natural beauty! all shots are taken from my digital camera...some are a teeny bit enhanced color wise by photoshop...but overall there an accurate resemblance...the place is beautiull....so serene..

though i'd share..enjoy!

Re: Pictures of my Trip...

yea i had lots of fun in Dubai! we stayed at the Hilton over there...pretty nice hotel... its very different, its a muslim country so its a culture shock but the people are friendly and great.

theres a water park there, we did a safari ride on the sand dunes, they have beaches, lots of shopping, a gold souk were u can buy gorgeous 22k jewelery because in these arab countries NO ONE goes near 10, 11, 14k gold...they only were 22k gold jewlery..so i bought some stuff well FH did for me haha...other than that, they have have helicopter rides that give you an aerial view. they have INDOOR SKIING in the mall which is a surreal experience... its like u can skii ride inside...than go out n go shopping and never really freeze your butt off.....Dubai is in the process of building an UNDERWATER hotel , god knows how there doing that, also theyre building man made islands...which alot of celebrities are buying,

make sure you get all the 411 most hotels will provide a plethora of information on nightlife, activities, etc..they have a a huge water park there...

im sure you'll have a great time! bring lots of cash..

Wow so beautiful, how was egypt. I always wanted to go but here its not safe for women. Beautiful pics.

Re: Pictures of my Trip...

well whoever said its not safe for women told you a big fat lie....there were more american and british tourists there than the local people. clearly egypt has a thriving tourism industry...and if i recall there are NO wars going on there...lol

I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza, great hotel great service, a lil on the pricey end but if you can splurge hey its your honeymoon! but there are sooo many other wonderful hotels!!

I visited ..The pyramids and sphinx were a highlight of my trip. I took a camel trip also! The sheer mass of the monuments is unbelievable and atop a camel you get a different perspective! They tell you the history and show you interesting sites, so it is great! If you can't tolerate the heat I would visit from December to March as it heats up even more after that.

Stay away from vendors. Have a tourist with a camera take pictures.People play tricks and try to cheat you out of money if they take pictures of you or your guests.Get prepared to be harrassed by vendors selling hats or books. FH got annoyed..but its nothing majorr... just a sidenote

Egypt is a nice place to be in..beautiful mosques, museums, shopping, and egyptian food is to die for! ...its not like any european countries or america, very exotic place...

overall theyre are plenty of tourists walking around. if you decide to go book a tour through a travel agent etc if your unfamiliar with that region or you can do it independently too and read reviews online on trip advisor or search the net for things to do in egypt...

they have the pyramids + a light show
camel rides
helicopter tours
beaches
great food
the egyptian museum
Cairo Tower, Cairo- At a height of 600 feet, this tower offers magnificent views of the entire city and monuments from its revolving rooftop restaurant and bar\

101 other things to do! i recommend you goo

Amazing! How long did you go for? Were there certain restrictions for covering up (clothing) in Egypt or the others?
