I don't see anything wrong with blue decorations, my favorite color is purple - so I pretty much have a purple x-mas theme - my DH HATES it - so I compromised and got colored lights.

At least I am not the only one who has thought about this
I did a silver/blue sparkly theme on my tree, although there are other colors too. I have alot of snowflake accessories and angels adorning the tree.

My tree, 95% of the ornaments are disney
have to finish putting bows on the banister
hard to see but I have all Disney charactors in the window

Hey blue, white, Silver decorationsis all I do for the holiday. When my camera works I will post a pic but since i'm jewish and hubby is catholic we decorate but only with that color sceme

Thanks! This is the first year that I tried to color coordinate my tree with my living room furniture.
I still have to put up all the ornaments (going through all of them, picking out the gold ones this year), and I have to find my tree skirt.
iN THE PICS you can't see the detail of the ribbon on the tree...I'm still trying to learn how to use this new camera...here's an upclose pic...I just love the ribbon

Thanks...however, I'm still missing curtains...5 years in a house, and I still can't get around to buying curtains! I think looking at this pic will get my butt moving...something definately looks missing...

LOL I just supervised, I had my Mom, Aunt, DH, Uncle and Dad doing everything else as I sat on my couch lol. As for the red chair covers, I got them after Christmas last year, but I have no clue as to what store I got them in, could have been Linens and things

Yeah...my family room tree is done! I went with a gold & cream theme.
(Our family room is still under construction, so bear with me. )
