Anyone take wedding pictures on a beach? My reception hall (Giorgios) isn't right on the beach, but they take us down the hill to the beach ...I'm just curious, how do you not get your dress sandy or muddy?

Re: pictures on a beach
we are taking pictures on the beach by Lombardi's on the Sound -- but I haven't figured out to keep my dress clean yet
I just plan on changing into my flip-flops before heading onto the beach.
anyone past brides have suggestions?

Re: pictures on a beach
we took pics on the beach.
i didnt worry one bit about mud or sand or anything like that.
i went barefoot on the beach and just put my shoes back on afterward.
i think the more you worry about it, the more your gown will get dirty.
mine got a little dirty but no one noticed.
good luck ladies!

I took pictures on the beach. I was so ecstatic that the weather was beautiful (I got married in November) that I could care less about it getting dirty. It didn't get too dirty at all...and no one noticed at all. Here are some pics (recently got my proofs so i'm excited and love to share!)

We took pics on the beach (Wading River BEach near East Wind/Giorgios)
I wore white flip flops... I didn't care about getting sandy- And honestly, I didnt, If I did, it all came out- I didnt notice, no one else seemed to notice-
I didnt get muddy at all
It was fun! BUT, sunny- so some pics are very squinty
