For those of you who often tote your camera in hand, whether it be at parties snapping away, or on an everyday 'just in case i need it' basis...
do you plan on using your own camera at your wedding to take pics?
I feel like I will have to have mine. Who's gonna take the pic of the hotel room all decorated in rose petals as we see it for the 1st time? or the behind the scenes shots that others may be missing? It may just be me, but i think I will HAVE to have it with me. I can see it now, me taking a picture of the photographer taking a picture of me!!

I loooooveeeee my camera (Nikon D90) and I would love to have it with me but I don't think I will have time to even think about taking pictures. I also don't want to leave it in anyone else's hands because if something happened to it I would cry.

Thats what BM are for! They can take pictures with their camera ll night and then let you borrow it after so you can take pics in the room!

I am Definitely taking pictures at my own wedding. Its sooooo me. I am considering how I can somehow have the BMs carry a camera with them as well. LOL... my friends and I snap A LOT of pics....and barely ever go someplace without one. Hmmm think I can make a pocket within the BoK to hide it but leave easy access?

Oh that is what my MOH/Sister is for. I mean, my parents didn't waste money on a good camera for her for nothing lol. Her camera is attached to her hip! I'm not worried!!

I love taking pictures, but I don't think I can be bothered with anything on my wedding day. It will be hard enough to keep my head on straight that day! I am such a mess when I get stressed lol

OOO I Believe i will have mine tucked away somewhere in that bridal suite. I know that our hotel is right next door to the rh, so i might ask the photographer to sneak a peak at the room is she can, maybe more towards the end of the night. I dunno, though something else to think about

wait ur a FH bride too, so ask the photographer at some point maybe if you and your hunny want to sneak away for 15-20 min, maybe possibly going to see the room with her. or see if the room is all set up before everything even starts????

i'm definitely going to have my camera with me. i bring it with me everywhere on a daily basis. i couldn't imagine one of the most important days of my life without it. i'm still trying to figure out where to hide it. maybe having the seamstress add hidden pockets to my dress.

I will definitely be having my camera on me, just my Canon PowerShot though, not my Rebel...I'll just have my DOC take care of it

I dont think I will have mine. My sister is the picture queen...so I am sure she will take a zillion photos for me. I'm really bad at taking pics. I have zero from our e-party!

I'm the same way! Never go anywhere without my camera. People are so used to me always having it that they never bring theirs knowing I will be taking 1000000000000 pix LOL I am definitely bringing mine. MOH will be incharge of taking pix with it as I was at her wedding. I have no idea where I'm gonna put it tho. Maybe will have a small bag with me for all the in case stuff

I might have it with me...but I doubt I'll take pics. I'll make sure my BMs get lots. Plus, I'm paying a photographer all that money, I dont want to have to worry about taking my own pictures.

I will def have it with me (dont leave home without it), but probably won't be taking too many pics with it (like I always do!)...my BMs will be taking pics though!

no way... i don't want to have anything in hand. My Moh's will have my makeup in the adorable bags I bought them and I don't smoke anymore I have no need for a bag to hold anything...im paying the photogs more then enough to snap all my pics
But I will have mine at the hotel with me while getting ready, I want pics of us all hanging out before the wedding and maybe pics of me and FH the next day if we have a brunch or something

i def am gunna be takin pics with my camera...i just feel like if i see sumthing i like and i want a pic of it...i dnt have to wonder if the photographer got it and what if he isnt right there at that second...

I'll probably have my camera on hand to take pics of me and BM's before the wedding getting ready but I don't think I'm going to take any myself at the wedding. I just want to relax and hopefully everyone will send me the pictures they take.
