Pictures w/ fiance only after the ceremony?
I am having a problem finding a photographer that I FEEL feels comfortable taking our pictures after the ceremony. Yes, we will take all pictures that are possible prior to the ceremony - brial party, families, but just not with the 2 of us in them together. Is anyone else doing this, and can anyone reccomend a great photographer? We are getting married at noon, but we are willing to get to where ever we need to be at whatever time neccasary prior to the ceremony.

Any good photographer should be able to follow through on your wishes. However, photos will take time and if you want to do it in between then you may have to compromise the # of shots a photographer can do. I would be leary of a photographer who says he will be able to get all your photos done when all of the others say no. I am using Mark Kauffman's studios. All of his packages include 2 photographers so you should be able to get more shots off in a limited amount of time. He is very flexible and Im sure his photographers have done what you are requesting before.

It is still the 'norm' to take photos after your ceremony. I cannot imagine a photographer who is insisting that you see one other before the ceremony. My FH and I have decided to take our photos prior to the ceremony because we have an evening wedding and will not have enough sunlight for outdoor photos after the ceremony. BUT...it was our decision. The photographers that I meet with never insisted one way or another. I also book Mark Kauffman. He was a huge help when I was deciding what to do.

We're going with Proline studios, and they wre the first that didn't argue with me about taking pics. after the ceremony! I have heard good things about Mark Kauffman (sp?) and absolutely love our photog. Point is, get a phot. that will do it your way- after all, it's your day! Any phot. you go to see, let them know up front what your wishes are and don't back down! (you are paying them aren't you?) Good luck!Welcome New Vendors
