Pier One Furniture

Any feedback on Pier One fiurniture -- they are having a sale and I was thinking of buying furniture for my family room.

The sale prices are great so I was just wondering if anyone had an any feedback on the sofas, chairs or entertainment furniture?

I don't have any living room furniture from them, but I do have spare bedroom furniture which I LOVE!!! The quality is excellent and the price is great. Good Luck!!

i got a bedroom set from there and the furniture was awesome quality got a headboard, footboard, 2night tables, armoire and dresser for 1500. and the quality is solid. its good wood and it lasts.

we recently ordered bedroom furniture from pier1 and we were able to bring home what they had available on the floor and in stock. the rest (queen headboard, frame, entertainment center, dresser, twin headboard, frame and trunck) will be delieverd sometime next week. all the furniture was on sale and we also received additional $$$ for some of the floor pieces.

we brought home a trunk, mirror and 2 end tables. they are solid wood and seem to be of good quality. my sister has had the same bedroom set (rio grande) for several years now and has had no complaints.

moral of my long drawn out story -
IMO they have quality furniture at reasonable prices.

BTW - don't forget to apply for the card to receive an additional 15% of sale price. also, if you are buying floor items, bargain w/ them.

i have the rio grand and love it.

also you get 10% off on the 1st tuesday of each month which is today.

they do not assemble the head board and foot boards for you we foudn out the hard way when they showed up.

we purchased our furniture in the store. we needed to apply for the card and wanted to bring home the in-stock/floor items.

the bedroom sale is over, so you might want to wait to see if there is another sale coming up. we saved a significant amount of money purchasing the items on sale and using our card.

but in order to take advantage of the 10% 1st tuesday discount, you need to be a platinum card member (Charge $1,000 or more on your Pier 1 card in three or more visits in a 12-month period and you become a Platinum Cardholder).

We bought a high table/bar stools for our kitchen and so far, we LOVE it!! and it's still standing. We didn't want anything to expensive/ellaborate for that room, so we thought Pier 1 was the best way to go!!

The quality is ok...not the greatest, but good for what we wanted.
