pills and skipping

pills and skipping

I am due to get my period the 4th day of my HM (I am going from June 1st to June 15th) and I would like to push it up 2 weeks so I dont have it for my wedding day or my HM. I am on ortho lo. Can I do this???? Anyone on ortho lo have this problem????

just start a new pack, instead of taking the pills the week of your period.

On ortho lo you have to continue the same color pills that you are already on. Take the number of pills the number of days you want to push it back. With the lo dose if you just skip the placebo pills, there's a higher risk of breakthrough bleeding. I would talk to your gyno because they can explain it better and perhaps give you samples for you to mess with your cycle. Good luck.

This is what I did as well. You may get a bit of spotting but otherwise okay.

This is what i did as well, but i started two months b/4 the wedding so that way the break through bleeding would happen and be done by the time my wedding came around

I posted on your other thread- call your gyno now and see if you can switch bcs- I got very sick when I skipped on ortho- it is one of the only bcs with varying degrees of hormones- i changed before the wedding & skipped with that one and had no issues at all- just dont recommend it with ortho

You should consult your doctor. I used one pack and skipped the last set of pills in the pack. Then I started a new pack going backwards skipping the last pill set in the pack.
