Pimple Face suddenly and I still have 8 months

I can't believe it but I have not had a pimple in about 7 years and all of a sudden they are popping out of every corner of my face. I spent 1/2 hour down the ACNE isle of CVS, perplexed. Anyone else???????????

I always had some cysts popping up. As soon as I got engaged, I went on Accutane. I have not had one pimple since APRIL!!

My skin looks freaking amazing! People who just met me have been commenting on what beautiful skin I have. It is the nicest compliment I could ever get. I have actually begun to be obsessed with fancy glycolic peels and laser skin procedures to make everything super perfect.

I used actuane a few years ago (I had really bad adult acne) it was a MIRACLE drug. I really NEVER get break outs anymore. I get compliments on my skin all the time. That's why I totally think mine is stress (we just bought a house, my job is coming under new management, wedding, mom not talking to me, best friend moving to cali) ok I should have a nervous breakdown - guess I'm glad its some pimples!

A few months ago I kept big zits also and I never used to get them. I am sure it was probably stress.

Also someone asked if Accutane has side effects, I was on this drug for a few years but not for acne. I actually have really bad psoriasis and my dr prescribed accutane for it. Well it really did work great but eventually I worked up a resistance to it so it stopped working. But there are major side effects, you have to get blood work done every month because it can cause serious liver damage. Also you have to be on brith control because if you were to get pregnant and be on this drug it would surely cause birth defects. Also after I had been done with Accutane I found out it can cause depression (only in some cases I think). So you kind of have to weight the pros and cons I guess. Hope that helps!!

I totally recommend facials. They do hurt a bit but after 2 hours the redness is gone and you have this fresh minty feeling. I always say it is like when you rinse with mouthwash...afterward you get that ahhhhhh feeling, that is what it feels like. Hope that helps. Good Luck!

Discussions with my dermatologist and other friends who've been on it lead me to believe that depression happens in young kids/teenagers who use it. I'm just as miserable as ever

But I have developed excema being on it, night blindness (although I already had a touch - now its worse), blurry vision and cracked/dry lips...

I hope I'm not building up an immunity to it

I was having the same freak out about pimples. I went to the dermatologist and I got differin. for about 4 weeks of your life you are miserable. It burns and makes your face a little red. But it is so worth it! My face looks so much better then it ever has.
