Pinched Nerve :(

I think I have this in my back..it's radiating up my neck and into my arms..any advice?? I made an appointment with a Chiropractor..Is that the right DR. to see? Any good advice for the pain?

Defintely see a chiropractor, I too have this still.

Don't use a heating pad, you may require ice packs.

You may want to see an orthopedist (sp). Chiropractors are good, but I don't think it works for everything. (JMO)

my firend used a chiroprator and massge thereapist, betwwen the two she is doing great now.

Liz isn't an orthopedic for bones? I'm clueless when it come to specialists?
Hmm...massage therapy? Does insurance cover that?

Jess, I had a bad work injury, my wedding wasn't even the same cause of it.

The chiro helps me alot. I have a disc injury, you may just be out of alignment and have the bone or disc putting pressure on your nerve.

Liz I saw an ortho and he did nothing for me

Jerk! He told me to come back in a month and that the xray showed my disc in bad shape, well then do something!

I had an MRI last week that shows my disc damage. The Chiro made me alot better, although I still have a way to go.

Ps Jesse, my lower leg & foot were so numb cause of this, I am just starting to get back SOME feeling

Jenn I know that pain!!! and yours sounds more severe! How long has this been happening to you?
Let's see what happens with the chiro today. joe's coming home early to take me. I feel like an idiot cause I can't look over my right shoulder. i have to turn my whole body to look to the right. Joe doesn't want me driving in case I have to turn around to see something.

some place like atlantis health network goes through the insurence. alot of time chiro's and massage therapists wotk hand in hand to get you feeling better.

Atlantis is right by me!!! I hope the chiro helps today...I usually work out four times a week kickboxing and I'm wondering if that's where the injury is coming form?
