Pink

Kind of funny story?

So I was at Paradise Bridals this weekend with my FMIL and FSIL. My FSIL was getting her measurements taken for her bridesmaid gown. Another bride came over to where we were standing, to start going through the Jim Hjelm swatch book. Her mother must have pointed out a pink swatch, to which the bride then goes, 'Ew, pink? How ugly.'

My dresses are pink.

Eh, I can't be mad. It's not like my FSIL was sitting there in her pink dress. Now THAT would have been mean.

Whatever. My bridal party will be hot. I'm pumped about my rose chiffon dresses. If someone doesn't like it, they can sit and spin.

i always try to keep my opinions to myself in the bridal store b/c im afraid i will say something adn another girl will be like - oh tahts my gown or somethig like that lol

To each her own!
I love pink, bright pink, but I knew my sisters (my MOHs) would not be thrilled with it and it isn't the best color on them so I chose different colors.
Ignore her, everybody has a different idea of what they want their wedding to look like.

btw...I totally agree with trying to keep quiet about colors, styles, etc in the bridal shops. It's not fair to the other brides that might really love something you hate.

when i was at paradise someone said the almost same thing!!!!!!!! about my black bm dresses it was a mother too!!! she said ew black how boring!!!

im not much of a pink fan but i have seen some beautiful weddings that were pink. dont let it bother you not eveyone is going to like everything. i have no problem admitting something is pretty even if its not me.
