My mother is insisting that I have pink as one of my colors....i however cant stand pink but since she is paying for half the wedding I have finally decided to concede....any pretty summer color combos that include pink.....

what colors do you want to use? because you can always use a dark pink as an accent instead of a main color.

I'm using pink. Sage green looks beautiful with pink. I'm thinking about deep purple dresses to go with pink bouquets and centerpieces...but not 100% yet.

HMMMM green and purple are my two fave colors....I guess I am also having trouble color coordnating and choosing which is the main color...i am kinda ecelctic and just go with what i think works even if it doesnt...I dont want that look for my wedding however

im having a fall wedding and am doing maybe wine red w pink sashes or brown w pink I saw black n pink that looked really nice. For summer I would prob go with green and pink or maybe tan and pink

What about a blush pink/peach? It's very sublte & very classic... I'm probably going with blush pinkpeach & champagne or blush pink/peach & a turquoise color for my June wedding

I'm doing blush and mauve - I'm not a fan of bright pinks but IMO these are a little more elegant and sophisticated (to throw out some wedding buzz words).
I also think they are easy to match with other accent colors.
Here is my inspiration boards...If you don't like it, it's ok lol I won't hate
those are basically my flowers. I am doing pink dresses with yellow sashes/ ribbon. I love the pink orange yellow flowers!

Coming from an African American perspective, IMO pink doesn't look nice on all skin tones. Darker skinned women really don't like nice in a bright pink, so I would go with a lighter tone to fit all women of color who will be in your wedding party.

I'm not a fan of pink either but I think that it looks great with purple. Purple is my fav color and my bm dresses are purple so I'm adding some pink accents to brighten it up a little.

This is what I'm thinking of doing as well. Do you have any pics of your color scheme?? I'm not sure what shade of purple to match with the pink.

My pics are too big to post and even when i resize them I cant put them in my album. My bm dresses are eggplant purple but im using dif shades of purple throught thhe wedding. I think tha it looks better using dif shades instead of being to matchy and sticking with one.
