I have pink eye and I got sent home from work, and they won't let me work tomorrow!! Granted I'm a nurse at Sloan Kettering, but I wash my hands!! It's such a waste of sick time!! uugghhh!!! I got pink eye from work and now im being quarantined!! Not to mention I spent 6 hrs in the ER making sure I didn't scratch my cornea...and the recommendation of the docs on my floor. Oh and I have to get medically cleared before I'm allowed on the floor again! How ridiculous!!! Needless to say my cornea wasn't scratched and I ended up spending the day with 4 ladies who's horse carriage fell over in Central Park (how crazy is that?) and a guy that peed himself!! LOVELY!

oh my god i was thinking that!! I'd have a nervous breakdown!! I just wonder how long its going to take FH to have a matching pink eye??

Thank god it's not your wedding day. I just got over pink eye also. The over the counter stuff does not work, I got drops from my doctor and by the next day it was almost gone. I worked with someone that had to get married with RINGWORM on her face, how messed up is that. That's what happens when you teach in the city, and parents don't take their kids to the doctor.

i don't have any drops...the opthamologist says its pointless bc its viral, which makes sense. It really doesn't matter symptomatically to me, its not itchy and doesnt really bother me. If anything it's slightly painful. I just hate that i'm wasting sick time on something so stupid!
