Pink runner ... Will this work?

Okay, I know I have seen pictures like this before in magazines, but I want other opinions

My dad and I saw a light brown linen last time we were at NRC and it was eally nice and classy (hard to explain) and to keep with the theme, I wanted to add these runners down each table. But I think the tables are round there (I dont remember)...

Anyway, do you think we could put this on everytable or should I just buy one or two for the cake and favor table??

Any pics of this idea would be helpful too.

I actually originally wanted to do navy blue silk runners on my tables but had such a hard time finding inexpensive ones.

I have seen it done (not in those exact colors) and I think it looks nice. Here is a picture from Flower Michele of a red toile runner on a white linen. I think it adds something to the table. What will your CP's look like? Will they incorporate those 2 colors?

The NR tables are round, but you can get oval tables if you would like. I like the round tables better personally. Why don't you get the runners for your table and the cake and favor table? They are really pretty!

I think pink and brown look fabulous together! (You can use a runner on a round table too if its not too wide.)

Yea, maybe i will do that cause I just realized that 20 runners will be $300 ... hehe. I dont think parents and FH will like that

As for the centerpieces with will have pink and brown in them...they will look like this but each vase will have the same color in it and a brown ribbon. we will alternate shades of pink per table

I think they will look great, but if you are at all handy Runners are really easy to make. I made them for my FSIL bridal shower and they were not hard at all. So much cheaper too if you know someone who sews.
