What does everyone think about the lyrics/video?

I just watched it for the 1st time in its entirety and I have to say that although she mocks many people what she is speaking about is so true.

Young girls have the worst role models in the entertainment world. The blonde bimbo anorexic looking singer/actress type out en masse now is worrying me

i hope that jessica simpson, ashley olsen, lindsay lohan and all the others see how ridiculous they look everyday.

They probably wont care but I hope they wake up and see what everyone else sees in them

While I agree that these girls are not the best role models for young women, I have to say I was offended at making fun of people with eating disorders. Not everybody who has an eating disorder is a hollywood hotshot, it is a real disease. It affects real people. I am a part of a group that works with girls with ED's and many of the girls were highly offended by the video. The girls who are really affected by those horrible diseases can not control it and are not trying to get thin to get more roles in movies.

I think she did a service in many ways with the video but also hurt many people's feelings. I am torn on this one.

Eating disorders are not just about wanting to be skinny, not for everybody, they have a lot to do with control as well as many other aspects.

My take on that aspect of the song and video is the ridiculously skinny girls we see in magazines and on tv.

Look at Nicole Ritchie and the Olsen twins and they look like skeletons and noone is helping them realize how unhealthy it is to be like that.

I truly dont think it was meant in anyway to mock real girls with problems...just the 'stupid' ones who do it because they think they need to be skinny to be popular

Unfortunately, the real girls with problems are the ones who are most affected by it. THe others, nicole ritchie, etc., aren't going to care what Pink thinks of them.
