Pity Party..

...At my house.

Sooo. It seems like no one I know can keep a secret. Because now I know when my shower is. FH ***** and said something, then said 'like you already know anyway' Yeahg I had an idea I didn't need you to confirm it. Then a friend said something like oh your shower is ___ & I reply 'umm I am not supposed to know', they stammered & tried to say that they were just playing.

So I am bummed that FH wouldn't even try to have a surprise for me. He always has to blow up the spot.

ON top of that, it is even more sad because like nothing is moving from my registries. Not that people have to get me something anyway, it is just said to see a full registry. & it is coming soon, so it looks like I will be buying alot of the stuff myself after the wedding

okay pity party over. I'm going to go see a movie..sniff sniff

Awww Don't worry!! I had almost hte same post up last week. My shower is next weekend and my reg. was at a standstill. Suddenly last night things started flying off ((and i'm talking NICE items like an awesome vacuum, etc.)) so don't worry too much. Yea you know the date but you still don't know what it will look like, etc. Try to be happy about ita nd know that there are people in ur life that love u enuff to throw you a shower.

You are right. Actually what got me upset is that I know how hard my MOH is working on this & for him to intentially mess up th surprise (even if I secretly knew already) s*cks. She would be soo mad.

Its gonna be ok! my own mom ruined mine for me - but if its only the date u kno - there are still plenty of surprises instore for yoU!

i try to think of it like registry stalking.... you might know when, but you dont know what they have planned, who will be there, and a lot of other fun surprises that are waiting! (just like you might know some gifts that were purchased, but you dont know who got them for you.... and you picked them anyway!)
