OMG EPM was f***ing amazing!!!!!!! It is super safe there!!! You go through 3 security gates to get to the hotel and they keep track of guests leaving and entering the hotel. As soon as you arrive they give you a cold towel (super hot out there) and champagne and say welcome home. By the end of the trip it felt like home!!!!

You never have to open a door because all the doors are automatic even to the hotel. There is a list in your building of who is on their honeymoon, anniversary, just arriving, and who is leaving. Make sure you bring a copy of your marriage license so you get the dinner on the beach and couples massage for free. That will save you over 400 bucks!

The room is amazing. I had the two story suite. The put petals around my jacuzzi, gave 2 different towel swans, and a heart towel another day and left a special plate of chocolates. You can eat everything in your room at no extra charge and it gets restocked. So they had some soda, beers, chips, candy bars, and oreos.

There is a night time turn down service and they leave you choclates and fold down the sheets and give you a list of activities for the next day. The resort activities are fun they give prices and sometimes spa certificates. The staff is super friendly, every says hi and has a sense of humor. The cleaning ladies though don't speak much english.

The pools are not heated so that is why they are closed at 8pm. though I don't think they will stop you if you stay in. You get service by the pool and at the main pool they actually serve plates of food! There is a cook on the beach that cooks something different every day so you don't have to go far if you are hungry. There are showers everywhere so you can wash off.

They have 8 restaurants. I only tried the Grill, Italian, Mexican, and Asian. All were fabulous!!!! The Asian place has a hibachi so and they are like every hour so you can tell them you want to do that. Didn't get to try it though. Every place looked fancy. For breakfast 2 places open up. One is a crazy buffet and the other has a menu. Both are to die for. They have a dvd player in the room and you can rent movies for a small fee.

Room service is 24 hours! I ordered everything off the menu. Definitely not better than the restaurants but pretty good!!! I had them deliver to the box all the time so we weren't disturbed. You can get wake up calls and have breakfast delivered. I hate going to get ice since it was only on 1 floor so I always had room service bring it.

Every night there is a show at the theater. They have a tiny club, but that wasn't too popping. You can play pool outside or indoors, chess, ping pong. They have a an ice cream machine by the pool so you can make yourself a cone.

The porters will call a cab for you and you just wait in the lobby and they will call your name. They have a game room which nothing really happens in except for the tournaments for texas hold em. There is a small library and internet computers. In the evening there is always live music and sometimes shows on the beach. I saw a lighted floor to dance on one time.

I tried the hobe cat sail boat and they taught me how to use it. All the non motor water sports are free. The water was really nice and the beach did not have a lot of seaweed. There are tennis courts and you can have an instructor. The spa was amazing!!! The hydrotherapy was intense. Alot of hot and cold, but so worth it. Best massages ever!!!

I talked to some other couples and they told me that they have never been to an all inclusive like this place where the staff are so nice and accommodating. Seriously I forgot to open my own doors when I took cabs when I came back here. I totally suggest going!! The excursions I went on were just as amazing and had really great food!!!

Any other questions??

Wow thanks so much! What excursions did u do? Did u book through the hotel?

One excursion came with my package from the travel agent and they set up the airport transfers with the same company. The rest I booked at the hotel. There are different companies at the hotel that you can book trips with. Olympus seems to be the popular one and that is what I went with. I went to Xplor where you can zipline, drive through caves and water, raft and swim in caves. That was super fun. I did the Original Snorkling adventure which is the best one I have ever been too because they tell you how to use the equipment properly and will point out fish and tell you what they are. Other places I have gone to have not even told me how to clean my mask. The other thing I tried was a trip to Isle Mujeres which is a island where you can do some water activities and then shop.

Also don't buy anything at the store there. Flip flops are like 50 bucks and sunscreen is like 30. Also try to carry pesos. They round up when they charge USD unless you are paying by card then it should be the same amount. Always bargain. You can always drop stuff down by 20 or more pesos.
