Pizza Points???

How many points do you think a regular slice of pizza from your everyday pizza place is? Not Dominoes or Pizza Hut-I mean REAL pizza? Also, do you think blotting off the oil takes off a point?

Re: Pizza Points???

my weight watcher book and my leader both say that pizza was re-evaluated for flex points and it's 6 pts for a pizzaria slice - 1/8 of a 16 inch pie.

I always took off a point for blotting...but its a at the moment call...do you think you blotted a Tbs of oil off? If you think so...take off the point...if the pizza was a little 'dryer' don't take it off...

The man at Weight Watchers tonight told me a slice of pizza from the local pizza place is 6 points.

It's things like that that I would prefer to take the higher number on, only b/c every pizza place is different, one can have mega cheese or a big crust. Also think about the WW frozen meals, those are 5-6 pts each, sometimes 7, seems unreasonable that a slice of real pizza would only be 6....but that is JMO.
