Mr & Mrs John smith
Mr & Mrs Smith
Jane & John Smith

I decided on Mr. & Mrs_______ Because I asked myself these two questions.

Is my wedding formal - yes
How did I address the invites - Mr. & Mrs.

I have no idea if this is the right way - it just works for me, and our wedding.

I am doing mine as
Mr & Mrs John Smith

For our place cards we did individual names:

John Smith
Jane Smith

Bob Brown
Susie Cooper

Et cetera.

I am wondering the same thing. I wouldn't do Mr. & Mrs. Smith because we have several couples with the same last name.

The 'proper' way is probably Mr. & Mrs. John Smith.

or John Smith

beause my mother wants the women's names to be on the cards, even though they weren't on the envelopes. ( I agree)

I guess the best way to do that is indivudal cards for everybody, but that's a lot of cards.
