I am thinking about using pumpkins to hold my place cards. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to attach them without slicing the pumpkin?

I would carefully slice the stem of the pumpkin, lengthwise, and stop before you get to the pumpkin. then you can place the card with the seating arrangement into the slit of the stem.

You could punch a tiny hole in the placecard and tie it into a bow, around the pumpkin stem, with raffia
